Succession Plan for the Fashion Empire

The fashion house announced that Armani’s family and his team will continue developing the group, upholding and continuing the designer’s values. The company said, “Giorgio Armani is a firm built with passion and patience over 50 years. Giorgio Armani has always made his card an independent mind and action. The company is, now and always, a reflection of today’s sorrow.” The designer opened his company in 1974 with his former partner Sergio Galeotti, who recognized Armani’s potential and advised him to create his own brand. Galeotti died in 1985 of heart failure, while it was reported at the time that AIDS was the cause of his death.
