On the evening of Saturday, June 6, a fire broke out in a room within an abandoned building located on Leśna Street in Mława. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene to combat the blaze.
Investigation into the incident
During the rescue and firefighting efforts, responders discovered the body of a man on a couch. The operation was carried out by fire department units, police, and a prosecutor, under whose supervision procedural actions were conducted.
According to Staff Sergeant Anna Pawłowska, press officer for the Mława County Police, authorities are currently working to confirm the identity of the deceased and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing under the oversight of the prosecutor’s office.
