Fatal knife attack in Warsaw’s Praga Północ leaves one dead, perpetrator arrested after police pursuit.

Attack and Escape

The attack occurred on Tuesday, February 3, in a building at Łochowska Street 52 on Warsaw’s Praga Północ. After the incident, the perpetrator fled on foot and abandoned the weapon he used several dozen meters from the attack site.

Thanks to a quick and efficient police operation, he was arrested less than an hour later. Many police patrols and four medical rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers provided assistance to the victims at the location.

Victims

According to information provided by the Miejski Reporter service, the attacker assaulted two people – a man and a woman – with a sharp tool.

Unfortunately, despite attempts to help her, the 53-year-old woman died at the scene. The 70-year-old man who was attacked is the woman’s current partner. He sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.
