An 18-year-old woman died and a male peer was hospitalized following a fire at a summer house near Lake Budzisławskie on the morning of Saturday, June 6.

Emergency services received reports of the fire at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. An 18-year-old male was found outside the structure with burn injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Firefighters discovered the body of an 18-year-old woman after extinguishing the flames and searching the charred remains of the building.
Operation and Ongoing Investigation
Thirteen fire service units were deployed to the scene to combat the blaze. According to the Konin fire department spokesperson, Sebastian Andrzejewski, the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
Police, under the supervision of the Konin prosecutor’s office, have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding this fatal incident.
