The Incident
A fatal accident occurred on Thursday, February 12, 2026, around 8:00 PM, in the town of Płock at Wiadukt Street. A passenger train struck a man who was on the railway tracks. Despite the train driver’s immediate braking attempt, the collision could not be avoided.
The man died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
Emergency Response
At the time of the incident, there were about a dozen people on board the train. None of them were injured.
Emergency services responded to the scene, including two teams from the State Fire Service, a unit from the Volunteer Fire Brigade, and a medical rescue team.

Police are conducting an investigation under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
