On Saturday, May 2nd, around 10:00 AM, a serious accident occurred in Zawiszyn, Wołomin County, involving two passenger cars: a Fiat 126p (Maluch) and a Volkswagen.
The incident took place within the Jadów municipality. Preliminary findings indicate that the 70-year-old driver of the Fiat 126p failed to yield to a 28-year-old woman driving the Volkswagen, resulting in a collision.
Injuries and Medical Response
Both drivers required medical assistance and were transported to the hospital. The 28-year-old Volkswagen driver was released after examination and returned home.
The 70-year-old Fiat driver sustained the most serious injuries and required transport by helicopter from the Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (Air Ambulance). He remains hospitalized.
