On October 2, 2024, a Fiat delivery van caught fire under its hood while traveling on Drawska Street near Szczęśliwicki Park in the Ochota district of Warsaw. The driver immediately pulled over and left the vehicle unassisted before flames reached the passenger area.
Firefighting Response
A single fire brigade squad was dispatched to the scene. Firefighters acted swiftly and extinguished the blaze, preventing further spread to the cabin.
Damage Assessment
Despite the prompt response, the fire destroyed a large portion of the vehicle, including the engine compartment and the passenger cabin, rendering it unusable.
Traffic Disruption
Motorists on Drawska Street were completely blocked during the emergency, afterward shuttle traffic was installed until the firefighters finished their operations.
Current Status
