Fire at abandoned building in Bródnie, fire brigade responds

Fire Response

At approximately 1 PM on Budowlana Street in the Odrowąż area of Bródnie, a fire broke out in an abandoned building. Four fire brigade units were dispatched to the location, and their operations concluded without any injuries reported.

Firefighting Operations

Upon arrival of the first units, the abandoned building was engulfed in flames, with the interior and roof burning. Firefighters deployed two water streams in an attack pattern, but the fire had spread to hard-to-reach spaces within the roof structure. To effectively extinguish all fire sources, it was necessary to dismantle part of the roof.

Search and Safety

After bringing the fire under control, firefighters thoroughly searched all rooms and found no one present. According to information from the scene, homeless individuals frequently stayed in the abandoned building.

Scene Assessment

Several police patrols and a medical rescue team were also present at the location. The operation was concluded, and all services left the intervention site.
