Fire at Safety‑Equipment Store, Flames Escaped Through Window

On the evening of December 10, a fire broke out in a safety‑equipment shop on Królewska Street in Milanówko, involving one room and drawing five fire‑brigade units.

Incident Details

A blaze erupted in the safety‑equipment shop on 10 December at about 19:25, engulfing a single commercial space within the premises.

Firefighters arrived around 19:40, finding flames leaping from the shop’s windows.

Response and Firefighting

Five fire‑brigade squads responded promptly, containing the fire while working to suppress the flames.

Officer Rafał Łyszkowski of the Grodzisk Mazowiecki fire department reported the fire originated in the store’s centre, with flames exiting through the windows.

Impact on Traffic

During the initial firefighting operations, Królewska Street was completely closed.

After the situation was under control, traffic was restored, but the area remains in a shuttle mode for safety checks.

Current Status

Firefighters are now in the extinguishing stage, inspecting the charred area.

The site around the damaged store remains secured and monitored.
