Fire Engulfs Summer Cottage
The incident occurred on Thursday, December 25 around 12:55 p.m. at Brózka Street, within the Koło II allotment gardens in Warsaw’s Wola district. By the time firefighters arrived, the wooden cottage was entirely engulfed and heavy smoke drifted over the surrounding gardens.
Firefighters Respond
Firefighters deployed water streams directly at the burning elements, attacking the fire’s source. Three brigades—two from JRG 7 and one from the Fire Academy—along with a municipal fire crew, secured the area.
Clean‑up Operations
Following extinguishment, firefighters dismantled charred remains and searched for lingering embers. A thorough sweep of the wreckage was conducted to ensure no further danger and to confirm that no persons were injured.
