Emergency Dispatch
At 13:24 on Thursday, December 4, the Pruszków State Fire Service received a call about an apartment fire at the building on Drzymały Street. Four firefighting teams were dispatched and the scene was also attended by police, medical rescue, and electric and gas rescue units.
Fire Response
Firefighters found a developed fire on the building’s second floor, with smoke billowing from the windows. Immediate firefighting and rescue operations were launched, both inside the building and with perimeter control.
Evacuation
Three occupants were evacuated, including a disabled person who was safely removed from the danger zone. A balcony evacuation ladder was prepared but ultimately not needed.
Fire Suppression and Aftermath
The blaze was quickly contained and extinguished. Firefighters then used specialized equipment to ventilate stairwells and apartments, clearing smoke and enabling further operations. Gas and electrical installations were inspected for damage.
Police Investigation
Police are investigating the incident; so far no casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
