Crash at Fieldorfa “Nila” and Perkuna Intersection

On Tuesday 23 December 2025, a fire truck en route to a reported gas pipe leak collided with a passenger car at the intersection of ul. gen. Augusta Emila Fieldorfa “Nila” and ul. Perkuna in Warsaw’s Praga‑Południe district. The collision caused fuel to spill onto the road.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was examined by a medical rescue team and transported to hospital.

Fire Department Dispatch and Response

The capital’s fire department said three trucks were heading to ul. Bukowski for a gas pipe leak. Around 12:30, the collision was reported near the destination, at the Fieldorfa “Nila” and Perkuna junction.

Two of the remaining trucks stopped to assist, while three additional crews were sent to the incident site on ul. Bukowski.

Scene Secured and Firefighters Untouched

Firefighters secured the scene and reported that they were unharmed after the collision. The incident’s primary casualty was the passenger car driver, who was taken to hospital after a preliminary medical assessment.

Fuel Leak Complicates Traffic on Fieldorfa “Nila”

Fuel leakage from a damaged tank in the fire truck contributed to road obstructions on Fieldorfa “Nila”. The stretch of road near the Perkuna intersection, leading toward Wał Miedzeszyński, was temporarily blocked until the spilled oil was cleaned up.

Detours Established and Police Presence

Detours were established and law‑enforcement officers remained on site to manage traffic during cleanup operations.
