Five Teenagers Arrested for Brutal Robbery in Warsaw

Polish police detained five young men, aged 16 and 17, for assaulting an 18-year-old and stealing his belongings during a party in Mokotów.

Assault and Theft Under the Bridge

Police in Mokotów arrested five young men suspected of robbery. The incident occurred on a Friday night in Mokotów, where an 18-year-old was beaten after a verbal argument escalated into violence. The attackers kicked and punched him, then stole his personal belongings and left him half-conscious, nearly naked, under a bridge.

Party Turns Violent

The victim had organized an outdoor party with friends when the attack occurred. The assailants, who were his acquaintances, provided no assistance. A passing man noticed the victim, alerted authorities, and administered first aid.

Evidence and Arrests

Officers from the Crime Against Life and Health Division quickly identified and detained the five suspects. Bloodstained clothing was seized during searches of their homes.

Legal Consequences

Four 17-year-olds were charged with robbery and placed in three-month pretrial detention. A 16-year-old was sent to a juvenile shelter by court order.

Ongoing Investigation

The case is being overseen by the Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw-Mokotów.
