According to the Press Spokesperson of the Warsaw-Praga District Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation is being conducted under file number 3042-1.Ds.100.2025. The communication indicates that the suspect in this case is Jarosław G. – until recently deputy head of the Warsaw police unit dealing with crimes against life and health.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the man was arrested on March 10, 2026. Investigators presented him with two charges concerning “accepting a financial benefit in connection with holding public office” and “failing to fulfill obligations and disclosing information from preliminary proceedings conducted by KRP Warsaw I under the supervision of the Warsaw Śródmście-Północ District Prosecutor’s Office”.

Precautionary Measures

The prosecutor’s office also applied for a preventive measure against the suspect. The Warsaw Praga-Północ District Court granted this request. As reported by the Press Spokesperson of the Warsaw-Praga District Prosecutor’s Office, a “preventive measure in the form of temporary detention until May 30, 2026” was applied to Jarosław G.
