Former PiS Minister Fleeing Journalist in Sejm, “Fell on a Woman”

Former PiS Minister Robert Telus attempted to evade journalist Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz in the Polish parliament, ultimately bumping into a woman while avoiding questions.

Journalist Pursues Minister

On Thursday, January 15, journalist Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz from TVP Info published a video showing her attempt to question former PiS Minister Robert Telus in the Sejm. Telus attempted to avoid the conversation, and Dobrosz-Oracz commented, “He fell on a woman…” The footage shows the journalist running down stairs after the politician. “Mr. Deputy, Mr. Minister Telus, don’t pretend you don’t hear me,” she says. Despite her calls, Telus walks quickly ahead until he bumps into a woman standing in a Sejm corridor.

Telus Questioned About Party Suspension

Eventually, the journalist caught up with the member of parliament and asked if he was still suspended from the party. “Yes, yes, that’s right,” he confirmed. PiS made this decision after news emerged about the sale of a plot that was crucial for the construction of the CPK, for which approval had been given by the Ministry of Agriculture, which was then headed by Robert Telus.

Internal Investigation

Dobrosz-Oracz then asked Telus about the internal team established within PiS to investigate the matter. “Were you interrogated?” she asked. “Yes, a few times I was interrogated and I’m waiting. I’m optimistic,” he replied. However, he did not answer the question of whether he “sold the plot” for the CPK. Instead, he encouraged reading the statements he issued after his suspension.

Land Sale Background

Robert Telus was suspended from PiS membership in October 2025. This happened after Wirtualna Polska revealed that in 2023, shortly before handing over power, the Ministry of Agriculture, led by PiS, had approved the sale of a plot in the village of Zabłotnia to the vice president of Dawtona company. This location was crucial for the Central Port Komunikacyjny as the high-speed rail line from Warsaw to the airport was supposed to pass there.

Property Details

The plot at that time belonged to the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) and had been leased by Dawtona’s owners since 2008. In December 2025, KOWR recovered the property at its purchase price, which was 22 million 760 thousand zlotys.
