Incident Details

A caretaker at a children’s home in Wałbrzych opened a window so a four‑year‑old could wave goodbye to a visiting family member. The child fell several metres down the window, knocking the caretaker off balance.

Air Ambulance Response

The emergency response team from the Air Rescue Service (LPR) was dispatched to the scene. The child remained aware and in good condition during transport.

Police Findings

Investigators documented the case, collected footage from the premises’ monitoring cameras, and tested the caretaker’s blood alcohol level, finding it to be zero.

Next Steps

Policeman Łukasz Porębski of the Wrocław Provincial Police Command relayed that no arrest was made and that the material will be forwarded to prosecutors for further action.
