Four intoxicated Ukrainian citizens were traveling in a Volkswagen on provincial road number 731 in the Warka municipality when the vehicle left the road and struck a concrete culvert.
Police arrived at the scene on Sunday, March 22nd, in Grzegorzewice, and found the four men (aged 18-22) attempting to remove the car from the ditch. All individuals had blood alcohol levels ranging from 1 to over 2 per mille.
Vehicle Condition and Police Action
The vehicle sustained damage and had both license plates removed. It was towed to a parking area. All four individuals were taken to the police station for questioning.
Charges and Penalties
The driver, a 21-year-old, was charged with driving under the influence and causing a collision. He received a fine of 1200 złoty and 10 penalty points were added to his driving record.
