Child Fell From Fifth Floor
On Monday, April 20th, a dangerous incident occurred in Bydgoszcz when a four-year-old boy fell from a window of an apartment on the fifth floor of a building on Chołoniewskiego Street.
The child fell from the fifth floor for an unknown reason, landing on a balcony on the first floor of the building.
Resuscitation and Hospital Transport
The child was resuscitated at the scene. Paramedics continued resuscitation efforts during transport to the hospital.
“We helped transport the child to the ambulance, with resuscitation ongoing the entire time,” said Karol Smarz, a spokesperson for the Bydgoszcz State Fire Brigade, as quoted by “Express Bydgoski.” “One of our firefighters boarded the ambulance to assist with resuscitation en route to the hospital. The boy was handed over to the hospital’s emergency department.”
Investigation Underway
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
