On Saturday, December 13, 2025, residents of Warsaw’s Praga‑Północ district can exchange electronic waste, batteries and cables for a live Christmas tree at the district office on Kłopotowskiego Street.
Event Details
The exchange will run from 10:00 to 13:00 on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in front of the Praga‑Północ District Office, Kłopotowskiego 15.
It is the second edition of the “Swap Waste for a Tree” campaign and is promoted as a major holiday attraction in the city.
Tree Allocation
A total of 400 trees will be available, including Caucasian firs both cut and root‑system varieties, as well as potted spruces.
Participants may receive only one tree per coupon.
Exchange Rules
Each visitor who presents a specified category of electronic waste during the event receives one coupon.
One coupon can be redeemed for a single tree.
Eligible Items
The program focuses on discarded electrical and electronic equipment and accessories.
Acceptable items include large and small household appliances, RTV/electronic gear, power tools, batteries, chargers, cables and wires.
Participant Benefits
The initiative allows residents to dispose of unwanted electronics and to acquire a live Christmas tree just before the holidays.
