On Friday, September 19, Warsaw’s city center will experience disruptions due to two public gatherings and a cycling event, potentially leading to street closures by the police.
Public Gathering at the Presidential Palace
The first public gathering is scheduled from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM in front of the Presidential Palace. If the Krakowskie Przedmieście street is closed, buses on lines 116, 128, 175, 178, 180, 503, and E-2 will be rerouted.
Second Public Gathering and Cycling Event
The second gathering will start at 11:00 AM in front of the PKO Rotunda, near the Dmowskiego roundabout. Participants will then march through Marszałkowska, Świętokrzyska, Nowy Świat streets, across the Trzech Krzyży square, along Alejami Ujazdowskimi to the Prime Minister’s Office, and back to the Ministry of Justice. The event may last until 4:00 PM.
The Warsaw Critical Mass cycling event will take place in the evening, starting at 7:00 PM from the Zamkowy square. The cyclists will ride through various streets in the city, returning to the starting point around 9:00 PM.
Police Presence and Safety Measures
Police officers will oversee the events and may temporarily close selected streets to ensure safety and order.
