Friday Disruptions in Warsaw: Public Gatherings and Cycling Event

On September 19, Warsaw’s center will experience traffic disruptions due to two public gatherings and a cycling event, with potential street closures by police.

Public Gathering 1: Presidential Palace

The first public gathering is scheduled from 8:30 to 9:15 am in front of the Presidential Palace. If Krakowskie Przedmieście street is closed, buses on lines 116, 128, 175, 178, 180, 503, and E-2 will take detours.

Public Gathering 2: Rotunda PKO

The second gathering will start at 11:00 am in front of the Rotunda PKO, near Dmowskiego roundabout. Participants will march through Marszałkowska, Świętokrzyska, Nowy Świat streets, across Trzech Krzyży square, Alejami Ujazdowskimi to the Prime Minister’s Office, then return to the Ministry of Justice. The event may last until 4:00 pm.

Warsaw Critical Mass Cycling Event

In the evening, participants of the Warsaw Critical Mass cycling event will set off at 7:00 pm from Zamkowy square. They will ride through Krakowskie Przedmieście, Nowy Świat, Alejami Jerozolimskimi, across the bridge and Poniatowskiego avenue to Waszyngtona roundabout, then return to Śródmieście and continue through various streets back to Zamkowy square, finishing around 9:00 pm.

Safety and Security

Police will oversee the events and decide on temporary street closures for safety.
