Fugitive Facing Five-Year Sentence Arrested in Warsaw

Warsaw police officers apprehended a 26-year-old man wanted for a five-year prison sentence after he was identified during a response to a domestic disturbance.

Response to domestic disturbance

Officers from the WWP KSP and KP Ursus responded to a report of a fight in an apartment. While en route, Ursus officers recognized the address and suspected a wanted individual might be present at the location.

Identification and arrest

At the scene, one of the individuals involved in the disturbance was identified as a 26-year-old man. He was wanted by the Warsaw District Court to serve a five-year prison sentence.

Detention and jurisdiction

Following the completion of necessary documentation, the suspect was placed in investigative detention. The operation involved the KRP III district, covering Ochota, Ursus, and Włochy.
