Polish government confirms continued funding for the National Educational Network beyond its current 2027 expiration date.
Current Funding Status
Currently, funding for the Polish National Educational Network is guaranteed until the end of 2027. The announcement of the change appeared in the list of legislative and program works of the Council of Ministers.
Legal Framework and Budget Allocation
According to Art. 15 of the cited act, the maximum limit of state budget expenditures allocated for carrying out tasks resulting from this act in the first year of operation, i.e., in 2018, amounted to PLN 13 million.
From 2022 to 2027, this amount is maximum PLN 164 million each year. The new funding arrangement will ensure continued operation of the network beyond 2027.
