The Ministry of Health has drafted legislative amendments to prohibit alcohol sales at gas stations and spas, ban all beer advertising by 2027, and mandate in-person age verification for online purchases.
Restrictions on alcohol sales
High-percentage beverages will soon be removed from gas stations and health resorts. These measures are central to a new draft amendment concerning sobriety education and the prevention of alcoholism.
Advertising and digital sales regulations
Starting in 2027, all beer advertising, including non-alcoholic versions, will be prohibited. Additionally, consumers ordering alcohol online will be required to collect products in person at a store to undergo mandatory age verification.
Legislative scope
The Ministry of Health is responsible for the preparation of this draft, which also includes modifications to the law regarding healthcare services financed by public funds.
