Polish MEP Grzegorz Braun visited the Iranian embassy in Warsaw to sign a condolence book after the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Condolence Book Signing
To commemorate the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who died during US-Israeli attacks that began on February 28, a book of condolences was set up at the Iranian Embassy in Warsaw. Polish MEP and party leader Grzegorz Braun signed the book on Friday, March 6, with a two-page entry.
Braun’s Message to Iran
Braun published photos of the condolence book and showed his entry. He addressed the Iranian people with the phrase “May God bless you.” He then expressed condolences regarding the death of Ali Khamenei. “Despite all significant differences, our countries share many universal principles that prohibit the use of aggression and murder as tools for resolving disputes in international relations,” wrote the MEP.
“Tehran-Warsaw a Common Cause”
According to the politician, the attack on Khamenei and his family was “shameful, cowardly and treacherous.” He additionally pointed out that it constitutes “a vile violation of these principles” and “is a manifestation of civilizational decline and personal degradation of those who committed such an act.” “The independence of states, sovereignty and security of free nations should be dear to everyone, also to me, Poles, and in this spirit I raise the slogan: Tehran-Warsaw a common cause!” wrote Grzegorz Braun.
Korwin-Mikke at the Embassy
On the same day, Janusz Korwin-Mikke also visited the Iranian embassy. Like Braun, the politician intended to sign the condolence book in connection with the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
