As Grzegorz Braun’s Confederation of the Polish Crown holds its KINGS congress in Łochów, the venue owner responds to controversy by pledging all event revenue to support Ukraine.

On Saturday, January 31, the National, Economic, and Self-Government Initiatives Congress (KINGS) is taking place in Łochów, in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The event is attended by over 550 participants, including the most important politicians of the Confederation of the Polish Crown led by Grzegorz Braun. The congress was organized at the Arche Pałac i Folwark Łochów complex.
Before the event began, a petition was sent to the facility’s owners appealing for them not to provide space to Grzegorz Braun. “Rzeczpospolita” reported that several thousand people signed the petition.
Arche CEO: We will transfer all revenue to help Ukraine
On Friday, the Arche Group issued a statement in which CEO Władysław Grochowski addressed the controversy surrounding the KINGS congress.
“Today I am at my home in the countryside and only just learned about this whole matter. Unfortunately, this type of event is fuel for extremism, driving a spiral of divisions and radicalism that is completely alien to my values and the company I have built. We are absolutely not aligned with Mr. Braun. I have therefore decided that all revenue from this event will be transferred to help the fighting Ukraine, which we have supported very strongly since the first day of the war,” stated Grochowski.

The Arche CEO believes that “the Confederation of the Polish Crown is a dangerous movement and the authorities should not ignore this, but should decisively engage, take a stance, and neutralize such situations.”
“It is also worth asking why Grzegorz Braun has so many supporters and is growing in strength? He would not have them at all if certain problems were solved. Pushing extreme voices to the margins only drives them. This is a message to the ruling elites that either they start solving social problems, or they will continue doing their business while this phenomenon grows until something really bad happens. Undoubtedly, the authorities should deal with this, because the State has all the tools for this, not us—we only suffer the consequences,” he emphasized.

During his opening speech, Grzegorz Braun said that his environment “has been defined as fascists.” “Hell roars and it is heard even here, in Łochów. They even tried to thwart this conference. I thank the hosts of this place very much that, despite various situational pressures, they are fulfilling the contract that was concluded,” added Braun.
KINGS Congress intended as a showcase for the party
Gazeta.pl spoke with an activist from the Confederation of the Polish Crown. The politician explained that Braun’s party wants to use its congress to show that it is capable of building an expert background. “Many people think that the Crown only deals with Ukrainians and Jews, and that the economy or finances do not concern us. KINGS is proof that it is otherwise. We have contacts with specialists from various fields,” he stated. He added that “the congress is intended to be a showcase” for the party.
