A head-on collision between a Peugeot 206 and Peugeot 207 in Żochy this morning killed one person and injured two.
Incident Details
Today around 8:00 AM on a county road in the village of Żochy (gm. Ojrzeń, pow. ciechanowski), a tragic road accident occurred. The Peugeot 206 and Peugeot 207 vehicles, moving in opposite directions, collided head-on.
Casualties
As a result of the incident, the 66-year-old driver of the Peugeot 206 died at the scene. The 29-year-old passenger of the Peugeot 206 and the 40-year-old driver of the Peugeot 207 were transported to the hospital.
Investigation
Rescue services and police were working at the scene. The circumstances and causes of the accident are being clarified under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
