On Monday, a police helicopter patrol over the forest near Krętle noticed the missing senior. After a quick visual confirmation, ground teams were dispatched to locate him. The helicopter’s flight footage was later posted to YouTube by the Łódź police.
Ground Search and Medical Response
Police and fire crews searched surrounding woods, fields, and ponds. When the man was located, he was conscious but severely chilled, so a medical rescue team was summoned. First aid was given on site before he was transported to a medical facility.
