Piaseczno traffic police arrested a 25-year-old man on Grójecka Street in Góra Kalwaria this morning after a vehicle pursuit ended with the suspect crashing into a tree that damaged a patrol car.
The Pursuit and Collision
This morning, Piaseczno traffic officers patrolling Grójecka Street in Góra Kalwaria identified a driver of a red Nissan failing to wear a seatbelt. When police signaled for the vehicle to stop using lights and sirens, the driver ignored the commands and attempted to flee.
During the ensuing chase, the suspect veered off the road and struck a tree. The impact caused the tree to fall, which subsequently damaged the police vehicle involved in the pursuit.
Suspect Apprehended
The 25-year-old driver was successfully detained at the scene. Investigations revealed that the man was already a wanted individual, facing a prison sentence of over two years.
