Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified in a closed-door deposition about Jeffrey Epstein, stating she never met him and was unexpectedly questioned about UFOs and Pizzagate.
Clinton’s Testimony
Thursday’s interrogation of Hillary Clinton took place behind closed doors. “I answered every question as thoroughly as I could, based on what I knew. And what I knew, I conveyed in my statement,” said the former US Secretary of State after the testimony concluded.
“I never met Jeffrey Epstein, I never had any contact with him, and I never communicated with him. I knew Ghislaine Maxwell, superficially,” Clinton emphasized, referring to Epstein’s partner.
“I don’t know how many times I had to say that I don’t know Jeffrey Epstein, I was never on his island, I was never in his homes, I was never in his offices,” Clinton stated. “Towards the end, it became quite unusual because they started asking me about UFOs, there was a series of questions about Pizzagate, one of the most vicious, false conspiracy theories that was promoted on the internet,” she added.
Bill Clinton’s Connections
Hillary Clinton stated that she is 100% certain that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, knew nothing about Epstein’s crimes.
“The timeline of her connections with Epstein ended several years before any information about Epstein’s criminal activities was revealed,” Clinton noted. “The vast majority of people who had contact with him before the charges in 2008 did not know what he was doing,” she emphasized.
The Jeffrey Epstein Case
American financier Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in 2008 for soliciting and procuring minors for prostitution. In 2019, he was accused of trafficking minors for sexual purposes. In the same year, he committed suicide in jail.
In December 2021, Epstein’s partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted for human trafficking. She is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
Among Jeffrey Epstein’s friends were, among others, Donald Trump, British Prince Andrew, and Bill Clinton. The former US President had previously admitted that he flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane four times. He noted, however, that he broke off contact with the financier several years before information about sexual offenses came to light.
Document Release
At the end of January, US authorities revealed about 3 million documents from the case files concerning the financier, including photographs and correspondence.
