How Poles Assess Life Under Tusk’s Government: New Poll Results

A new poll shows 33.2% of Poles say their quality of life has deteriorated since the 2023 election.

Survey Results on Quality of Life

A new poll conducted by UCE Research for Onet asked Poles how their quality of life has changed since the last parliamentary elections. According to the results, 33.2% of respondents reported a decline in their standard of living, while 28.2% noted an improvement. Another 32.2% of those surveyed stated that their living conditions have remained unchanged, and 6.5% expressed no opinion.

Differences Based on Gender

When broken down by gender, 25.9% of women reported an improvement in their quality of life, while 32.4% indicated deterioration. For men, 30.7% reported an improvement, and 34% stated their living conditions had worsened. Among women, 33.3% saw no change, compared to 30.9% of men.

Poll Methodology

The survey was conducted on February 19-20, 2026, among a sample of 1,021 Poles aged 18-80 residing in towns with populations exceeding 50,000.

2023 Election Results

Parliamentary elections held in October 2023 resulted in victory for the Law and Justice party (PiS) with 35.38% of the vote. The Civic Coalition (KO) came second with 30.7%, followed by Third Way (Polska 2050 and PSL) with 14.4%. The Left party received 8.61% of votes, and the Confederation secured 7.16%.
