Industry leaders at the DGP Economic-Legal Council outlined conditions for reducing energy costs through clear vision and stable regulations.
Stable Regulations Essential for Energy Price Reduction
According to members of the DGP Economic-Legal Council, a clear vision and stable regulations regarding the energy transition are necessary conditions for lowering energy prices and subsequently reducing business costs.
Strategies such as the National Energy and Climate Plan (KPEiK) and Poland’s Energy Policy (PEP) will support long-term planning in this area.
Energy Transition Should Be Above Political Disputes
Marek Górski, president of the Lewiatan Confederation, argues that the energy transition is a multi-decade process that should be removed from current political disputes.
He emphasizes that long-term strategies need to be built above political divisions and shouldn’t change every four to eight years with new governments.
Polish entrepreneurs expect predictability and clear directions for energy transition changes to adapt to new challenges and make proper investment decisions.
