Influencer Łatwogang Raises Millions for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Treatment

Piotr Hancke, known as Łatwogang, completed a charity bike ride from Zakopane to Gdańsk, successfully raising 12 million PLN for Maks Tocki and an additional 3.5 million PLN for four-year-old Adaś.

Goal reached for Adaś

After reaching the initial 12-million PLN target for Maks Tocki’s Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) treatment, Piotr Hancke decided to extend his live-streamed bike ride to support another child. The new goal was to secure 3.5 million PLN for four-year-old Adaś, who required funds for gene therapy in the United States.

The influencer noted that Adaś is at a critical stage where treatment is urgently needed due to rapid muscle degeneration. Donors met the 3.5 million PLN goal by 6:20 PM, allowing the therapy to proceed.

A charitable journey across Poland

Łatwogang began his cycling journey from Zakopane to Gdańsk on Friday afternoon. Supported by a team in a technical vehicle, the influencer relied on the engagement of his viewers to drive donations throughout the ride.

This initiative follows his previous successful campaign, which raised over 251 million PLN for the Cancer Fighters foundation. The influencer noted that this trip was inspired by stories of children living with DMD and required rapid preparation.
