The French news agency AFP reported at least six explosions in Jerusalem on Saturday. According to the Times of Israel portal, no casualties were reported following the attack.
At least six explosions were recorded in Jerusalem late Saturday afternoon after the detection of new missiles fired from Iran, according to AFP journalists. Israeli rescue services reported five people were injured in several Iranian rocket attacks earlier that day in Tel Aviv and central Israel.
Israel’s Anti-Air Defense Intercepts Rockets
The Times of Israel, commenting on the latest attacks targeting Jerusalem, emphasized that no casualties were reported in the city. One rocket may have hit an open area, “while others were intercepted by air defense, but the results of the interception are still being analyzed,” according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Seventh Iranian Attack of the Day
The shelling of Jerusalem and its surroundings was the seventh Iranian attack against targets in Israel that day, the portal emphasized.
