Reason for Decision
Iran’s official news agency, IRNA, reported—as cited by Al Jazeera—that the refusal stems from “excessive demands from Washington, unrealistic expectations, constant changes in position, recurring contradictions, and the continuing maritime blockade.”
The agency views the maritime blockade as a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
