Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that passengers of the Global Sumud flotilla have entered the country safely and peacefully, and that deportation proceedings to Europe will begin there.

The ministry emphasized that all passengers are “safe and healthy.”

According to The Guardian, 14 vessels have been detained. The remaining 23 are still scheduled to sail.

Flotilla Movement Near Gaza

Several derelict vessels are approaching Gaza’s territorial waters. One such vessel, Mikeno, has already reached the area.
