Iranian media report hearing three explosions in Tehran. The Fars news agency claims several missiles struck the country’s capital. According to Iran International, the attack targeted among other places the main headquarters of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

Israel Prepares for Retaliation

“Over the past few minutes, air raid sirens have wailed throughout Israel, and proactive warnings were issued on cell phones to remain near protected areas. This is a proactive warning aimed at preparing society for the possibility of missiles being fired towards the State of Israel,” the Israel Defense Forces reported on Saturday morning.

National Activity Reduced

“A decision has been made to move all areas of the country from full activity level to essential activity level. The guidelines include: prohibition of educational activities, gatherings, and work, except for essential sectors,” the statement added.
