Israel Warns: Attacks on Iran Will Escalate. “Unrelenting Pace”

Israel and the U.S. have attacked over 1,200 targets in Iran as tensions escalate, with Israel warning of continued strikes against Tehran’s missile capabilities.

U.S. and Israel Launch Extensive Military Operations

The United States and Israel have attacked over 1,200 targets in Iran during the first three days of what officials described as an “unrelenting pace” of operations. According to American station CNN, which cited two Israeli officials, Israel expects Iran’s ability to launch ballistic missiles to significantly deteriorate within the next 24 hours.

Trump: “We Are Destroying Iran’s Missile Capabilities”

President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. military is conducting large-scale combat operations in Iran to eliminate serious threats to America from what he called “this terrible terrorist regime.” Trump emphasized that after destroying Iran’s nuclear program in Operation Midnight Hammer, the U.S. had warned Iran against attempts to rebuild it.

“First, we are destroying Iran’s missile capabilities… Second, we are destroying their fleet. We have already sunk 10 ships… Third, we ensure that the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism will never have a nuclear weapon,” Trump declared, adding that the Iranian regime would no longer fund and direct terrorist armies beyond its borders.

Israeli Forces Target Tehran

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced Monday evening that they had “completed a wave of attacks on command centers belonging to Internal Security and the Ministry of Intelligence in the heart of Tehran.”

“The Israeli Air Force, commanded by the IDF’s Directorate of Intelligence, attacked dozens of headquarters of the Iranian terrorist regime in the heart of Tehran. Additionally, the IDF attacked more than ten headquarters belonging to Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence,” the IDF stated. The Israeli forces also continued attacks on missile launchers, weapons production sites, and other Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps air force facilities.

During the attacks, the Israeli Air Force fired hundreds of pieces of ammunition at dozens of missile launchers, air defense systems, and high-intensity fire systems used by the Iranian terrorist regime.

Iran Responds with Drone Attacks

In response to Israeli and U.S. airstrikes, Iran and its allies have turned to drones. Shahed drones struck Bahrain and Dubai, while a British airbase in Cyprus was also attacked. Bartosz T. Wieliński of Wyborcza.pl suggests that Ukraine might help in fighting against Iranian drones.
