Judge Wróbel discusses upcoming Supreme Court presidential election amid concerns over judicial integrity.
Judicial Assembly Meeting
A General Assembly of Supreme Court judges was called for Tuesday to select candidates for the position of First President of the Supreme Court.
According to Supreme Court Judge Włodzimierz Wróbel, the outcome might already be decided, with him becoming the next First President.
Election Process Clarification
“I don’t know where such a conviction comes from,” Wróbel stated. “So far, I have simply expressed my willingness to run.”
He hopes the assembly will take place and that five candidates will be selected according to regulations, from whom the president will appoint the new First President.
“The president is the ultimate decision-maker, not the Supreme Court judges,” Wróbel emphasized.
