For years, PiS politicians had avoided the march at the organizers’ request, but this year they participated. Kaczyński expressed hope that more people would recognize the current reality and that it needs to be changed, warning of a “fatal direction.” He referred to a possible counter‑attack by the Russian empire and noted Ukraine’s stubborn resistance.

He said the goal is to “create a big camp that will stand in elections,” acknowledging that difficulties remain.

Kaczyński Questions Donald Tusk’s Presence

During the march, President Karol Nawrocki was present, but former Prime Minister Donald Tusk was absent. Kaczyński remarked that the hope for Tusk’s attendance was slim, adding that one could equally expect Putin to attend.
