Polish opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński delivered a speech on Monday, November 10, outlining a “message for the day” on November 11 and warning of a “very risky action” to defend Polish independence.
Independence Threatened
The party leader said that Polish independence is genuinely under threat, noting that rule of law is also endangered. He warned that the government is not only violating rule of law but rejecting it altogether.
German‑Russian Condominium Concern
He accused external forces, particularly Germany from the West and Russia from the East, of pushing Poland toward a so‑called German‑Russian condominium. He warned that continued alignment would erase Poland’s independence.
Message for November 11
Kaczyński appealed that Poland must act thoughtfully yet with courage, including undertaking decisive, sometimes risky actions. He described this message as the 10th‑November speech destined to become the message for the next day.
Call for Bold Action
The leader emphasized that the current period is a “heavy but short‑lived disease.” He stressed that Poland must be independent, free, a homeland for Poles, and that youth and children should be raised as Poles to cure a longstanding illness.
