Karol Nawrocki’s Honeymoon Phase Ends? Trust Drops in Latest Poll

CBOS’s November survey released on the 17th shows President Karol Nawrocki’s trust falling to 54%—down three points from October—while other senior politicians see varied shifts.

President Nawrocki Top Trust Rating, Slight Decline

In CBOS’s November trust survey, President Karol Nawrocki received the highest level of confidence at 54% of respondents, a 3‑point drop from October. Forty‑one percent declared no trust, up 5 percentage points from the previous month. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz was second with 44% confidence, a 3‑point gain, while his distrust level fell from 30% to 28%. Former Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski also scored 44% confidence, up 1 point, with distrust at 31%.

Rafał Trzaskowski Sees Significant Increase in Favorability

Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski’s approval rose from 39% in October to 44% in November. The share of respondents who distrust him fell from 44% to 41%. Vice‑Marshal of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak gained 39% confidence, down 1 point, and had 30% distrust, up 1 point. Other notable gains were seen for Prime Minister Donald Tusk (36% to 39%), Szymon Hołowni (33% to 38%), and Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasty (27% to 31%). The study ran from 6‑17 November.

Public Assessment of Nawrocki’s Performance Declines

CBOS also released results on the evaluation of President Nawrocki’s work. In November, 50% of respondents gave a positive assessment, down from 54% in September and 51% in October. Negative opinions rose to 33%, the highest since August. Seventeen percent had no opinion.

Other Politicians’ Trust Levels Vary

In the same survey, trust and distrust levels fluctuated for several senior officials, indicating shifting public sentiment across the political spectrum.
