Kierwiński Details Forced Entry at Nawrocki Home Amid Wave of Hoax Reports

Following a series of false emergency alerts, Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński and Deputy Minister Czesław Mroczek confirmed that authorities are tracking the perpetrators and overhauling the national emergency notification system.

Cracking Down on False Alerts

Deputy Interior Minister Czesław Mroczek announced on Sunday that authorities are actively tracking individuals responsible for hoax emergency reports. He stated that the perpetrators will not go unpunished and promised significant updates on police progress within the coming days.

The ministry is currently analyzing the emergency reporting system and has implemented new procedures. Plans to rebuild the Emergency Notification Center (CPR) infrastructure were initiated months ago as part of broader civil protection legislation.

Investigation into Targeted Hoaxes

Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński confirmed that the investigation is a top priority, involving the state’s most skilled specialists. He emphasized that the services are guided exclusively by hard evidence rather than political hypotheses.

The minister declined to comment on whether a single individual or an organized group is behind the recent spate of false reports. He expressed confidence that the extensive investigation will yield results quickly despite the complexity of such digital crimes.

Details of the Nawrocki Residence Intervention

The mother of Karol Nawrocki was recently targeted by a hoax report claiming a fire at her residence. The alert was submitted via an SMS gateway to the provincial Emergency Notification Center, which immediately dispatched police, firefighters, and paramedics.

During the intervention, a second false report suggested a medical emergency involving cardiac arrest, prompting responders to force entry into the apartment according to established safety protocols. Firefighters had previously attempted to contact occupants via the intercom, noting activity that suggested someone was picking up and hanging up the receiver.

Police confirmed that the residence was empty upon entry and no fire was detected. The premises were secured until the residents arrived.
