Konin Murder: Perpetrator Turns Self In to Police

A 41-year-old woman was murdered in Kleczew municipality; her 49-year-old husband turned himself in to police, confessing to the crime.

On the morning of Wednesday, February 11, Radio Konin reported that a murder had occurred in the municipality of Kleczew. The Konin City Police Headquarters received information from police in Słupca that a 49-year-old man had turned himself in, stating that he had killed his wife.

The incident was reported to have occurred during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Police Investigation

A resident of the Konin county indicated the location where the crime took place. Police officers went to the address and found the woman’s body with visible stab wounds.

The police, working with the prosecutor’s office, are conducting procedures with the man who came to the station. They are also securing traces and evidence at the scene to determine the course of events and circumstances of the incident.
