The ECPU Foundation’s investigations led to the exposure of a Krakow police officer who allegedly posed as “Piotr” online and targeted five children. The situation presents a stark paradox: an officer tasked with pursuing criminals was himself accused of predatory behavior.
Contact with Children and “Piotr’s” True Identity
The Foundation’s findings indicate that the 48-year-old officer, a staff aspirant with the Krakow City Police Headquarters, allegedly contacted several children online under a false identity. He also reportedly attempted to arrange a meeting with one of them.

Evidence related to the case was reportedly secured in the Tricity area, where the officer was stationed for official duties related to the Iwona Wieczorek disappearance case. According to investigators, attempts to arrange meetings with children occurred in that location.
Immediate Response from Authorities
Fortunately, a meeting did not occur, and the Foundation reported the matter to the Internal Security Bureau of the Krakow Police. Police immediately took action, suspending the officer from duty and initiating disciplinary proceedings. A request for his dismissal from the force has also been submitted.
