Labor Ministry Unveils New Anti-Mobbing Reforms

Poland’s Labor Ministry introduces updated anti-mobbing legislation, broadening definitions and employer responsibilities.

Expanded Definitions and Prohibited Behaviors

The project aims to overhaul regulations concerning mobbing and discrimination. It primarily focuses on simplifying and clarifying the definition of mobbing, treating persistent harassment as such regardless of the perpetrator’s intent. Additionally, it expands the list of unacceptable behaviors, encompassing physical, verbal, and non-verbal actions.

Employer Liability Undeniable

The reforms explicitly eliminate any possibility for employers to evade responsibility for acts of mobbing within the workplace.
