Polish police have launched an investigation after social media videos surfaced featuring Ukrainian model Darina Anderzhanova driving a Lamborghini Urus at extreme speeds of 144 km/h in a 50 km/h zone and over 230 km/h on the S8 route.
Documented Reckless Driving
Social media users widely shared footage linked to Ukrainian model Darina Anderzhanova, showing a Lamborghini Urus speedometer reaching dangerous levels. Investigative findings confirm the daytime recording occurred on Kasprzaka Street, where the limit is 50 km/h, while the vehicle was filmed reaching 144 km/h.
A second video, captured at night, displays the vehicle traveling on the S8 expressway. In this clip, the Lamborghini reaches speeds exceeding 230 km/h before the footage ends near the Prymasa Tysiąclecia intersection.
Official Police Inquiry
The Metropolitan Police (KSP) began investigative procedures on Friday, June 5. Aspirant Kamil Sobótka confirmed that officers from the Road Traffic Department are currently verifying the authenticity of the recordings and determining the precise circumstances of these events.
Although the individual involved claimed on social media that the videos were AI-generated, the specificity of the locations recorded makes that explanation appear questionable. Authorities are now focused on confirming the identity of the driver and the timing of the incidents.
Potential Penalties
If the evidence is authenticated, the driver faces significant legal consequences. Exceeding the speed limit by 94 km/h typically carries a fine of 2,500 PLN and 15 penalty points. Furthermore, exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h in a built-up area mandates a three-month suspension of the driver’s license.
Authorities are also examining whether the driver was using a mobile phone during the incidents, which would constitute an additional offense. If proven, this could result in an additional 500 PLN fine and 12 penalty points.
