Alleged Illegal Border Crossing

The three foreign nationals stated the Lithuanian driver transported them to the Polish-Lithuanian border, which they then crossed illegally on foot.

They were allegedly picked up on the Polish side and intended to be transported further into Europe.

Legal Consequences for the Driver

The Lithuanian citizen faces charges of aiding and abetting illegal border crossing and has been temporarily arrested for three months by court order.

He has also received a deportation order from Polish territory.
