A court in Łódź, Poland, has issued a non-final ruling regarding a rape alleged to have occurred during a 2021 film school integration trip.
Integration Trip and Initial Report
An integration trip for students of the Łódź Film School to Sulejów took place in October 2021. One month later, the school filed a report with the prosecutor’s office alleging a “crime against sexual freedom” had occurred during the trip.
The alleged perpetrator was a non-academic employee of the university.
Court Ruling Status
Grzegorz Gała, press spokesperson for the Łódź District Court in criminal matters, informed reporters that the ruling issued on Tuesday, March 24th, is not final.
