Polish police are appealing for witnesses to a six-vehicle crash near Łomianki on Route 7, which resulted in two fatalities.
Appeal for Witnesses – Tragic Accident in Łomianki
Police are requesting contact from anyone who witnessed a road accident that occurred yesterday around 5:40 PM on Route 7, on the overpass above Brukowa Street in Łomianki.
Collision Details
The incident involved six vehicles. A collision between Audi and Toyota vehicles traveling towards Warsaw caused the Toyota to overturn into the opposite lane, damaging four additional vehicles – an Audi, BMW, Toyota, and Honda.
Fatalities and Injuries
Two passengers in the Toyota died at the scene. The Toyota driver was transported to the hospital by the Air Ambulance service. One other participant in the event received medical assistance on site.
Investigation Underway
The Warsaw-Żoliborz District Prosecutor’s Office is leading the investigation into the incident.
Seeking Specific Information
Police are specifically requesting contact from individuals who were traveling in a red Renault vehicle at the time of the accident, as it was reportedly traveling parallel to the crash site. Any information, including dashcam footage, could be crucial.
